Children Under 13 (COPPA Compliance)

Parental Consent Required

  • We welcome children under 13 in our martial arts programs
  • Parents/guardians must complete our contact form on behalf of children under 13
  • We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any information from children under 13
  • All communication regarding children under 13 will be directed to parents/guardians

Children’s Information Collection

When a parent/guardian submits our form for a child under 13, we collect:

  • Child’s name and age
  • Parent/guardian contact information
  • Parent/guardian inquiry details

SMS Consent for Children

  • Only parents/guardians can provide SMS consent for children under 13
  • Children under 13 cannot opt themselves into text messaging
  • All text communications regarding children under 13 go to parents/guardians
