American National Tournament

American Nationals Podium Day 1
The team at the podium on day 1
On the past weekend, Jiu-Jitsu Foundation headed up to Los Angeles with 6 competitors to participate in the American National Championship.
After an intense 6 weeks training camp, the students improved their skills, strategy and mindset for one of the biggest challenges of their lives. It was the first time for some of the students to experience the adrenaline of being part of a big tournament.

Between team mates, friends and family members Jiu-Jitsu Foundation was very well represented. We gathered all the support and help needed to push our competitors to the top. It was a long and intense weekend full of emotions and excitements. Although there were moments when some competitors were exhausted and losing by points they showed desire and the will to win even at the very last second.
Cadu and Gabi are extremely proud of all the competitors. The performance and results were amazing but the most important thing is that every one of them fought their best. Out of 6 competitors we brought back home 5 medalist and a whole bunch of experience.
Thank you to Jesus, Danny, Jen, Greg, Ken and Rob for representing us out there! Also, Thanks to all the other students who made it up there to support the team and to those who helped during training. This was a very important weekend for Jiu-Jitsu Foundation not only as a team but as a Family.
