Diaper Triangle Seminar

This weekend, on May 25, 2013 Masters Cadu and Gabi Francis hosted a seminar at their academy: Jiu Jitsu Foundation in La Mesa. The seminar was taught by one of their purple belt students Ray Bonander AKA Coach “Shaggy”, who is about to become a father in the next month. The seminar’s topic was the Triangle choke submission; one of his favorite and one he is well known for at the academy.
This is an exciting time for his family and friends, and this includes his Jiu Jitsu family at JJF. Every step of the way Masters Cadu and Gabi Francis have been there to support him in welcoming his new bundle of joy. Ray has been training under Cadu Francis for over 6 years after moving to San Diego and Jiu Jitsu has now become a big part of his life. Gabi Francis suggested that this seminar would be a great chance for his family to exchange what he has learned from the academy for diapers and to celebrate the new baby! This event was an amazing turnout and beautifully done.
As the mother to be, I have never heard of an academy doing this for one of their student’s families! Jiu Jitsu Foundation is one of a kind when it comes to being family friendly and supportive of their students. Masters Cadu and Gabi have this as a priority for their academy and it is wonderful. I have never been around such a great team and atmosphere. I can walk into the academy on any day and know that I will smile and see people who I care about, and care about me and my family. I want to thank Masters Cadu and Gabi Francis for hosting this event and helping us prepare for Baby Mason and everyone who attended the class. We truly love how the academy has grown and that we continue to make great relationships through it while learning the art of Jiu Jitsu!
