Worlds Jiu Jitsu Masters 2012 – JJF Brings home the Bronze to La Mesa
On Sunday, October 7th 2012, the first ever World Jiu-Jitsu Championship exclusively dedicated to athletes over thirty years old was held in Long Beach, California. It was a HUGE success.
Jiu Jitsu Foundation had 3 Representatives, one of them being Master Cadu Francis along with Rob Denton and Ray Jackson.
The overall level of the tournament was way above local and national tournaments making it very exciting for the competitors and spectators.
Master Cadu Francis submitted his first two opponents with a shoulder lock from the back and a straight arm lock from the guard. He fell short on the semi finals against a world class competitor Givanildo Santana who had a better game and strategy for that fight and lost by a three advantages.
Cadu ended with a Bronze medal at the most competitive black belt weight class.
Raymond and Rob had good matches but didn’t make it through to the podium. Both fought very well and until the end, making sure to leave everything on the mat.

Jiu Jitsu Foundation looks forward to all the future JJF competitors yet to come. For those who desire to compete, you must first start with a consistent training routine and effort to perfect your physical and technical foundation.
Have a great week!
