Road to the Senior World Jiu Jitsu Championships

The International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) is holding its Senior World Jiu Jitsu Championship. Many IBJJF tournaments in the past have had a master and senior divisions but this is the very first tournament in America that is for competitors 30 and older. These past few weeks Master Cadu, Raymond Jackson, and Robin Denton have been training extensively for this new event.

Raymond Jackson and Robin Denton have both started their training only a couple years ago and today training and competing has  proven to be their passion.  In between their jobs and the bumps that life puts in their path, they still find time to train at a competitive level. At times finding time to come to Jiu Jitsu Foundation is very difficult but what keeps consistently training is their passion forms a Jiu Jitsu lifestyle.  This World Jiu Jitsu Championship our competition team will be able to show to the world an important lesson that we experience everyday at Jiu Jitsu Foundation. Jiu Jitsu has no limits. No matter how old or injured one is, they are always able to continue living the life style of the gentle art.  Moreover, Master Cadu is chasing after another gold medal!  After his double gold medal victory at the American Nationals, he is determined to win another Gold for Jiu Jitsu Foundation. Good luck competitors! Nothing less than success is expected!
